The City of Lewes Finance Department maintains all accounting records and oversees all financial operations of the city. Our office prepares and receives payment for property tax bills and business licenses as well as for building permits, parking violations, and parking meters. Disbursements including payroll is also maintained in this department. Annually the Finance Department provides assistance to the City Manager in the preparation of the budget.
