PRC Special Meeting - Stango Park Concepts

City of Lewes is asking for
Stango Park Extended Concepts

The City of Lewes Parks & Recreation Commission will hold a Special Meeting on Monday September 19th at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall to hear suggestions for the use of a three quarter acre parcel of land next to the Lewes library that will be part of the Lewes park system, loosely named Stango Park Extended.

So far one organization, Lewes In Boom, has presented a concept for this park area.  The City would like to hear suggestions from residents, visitors, and the general public of what they think the Lewes park system might benefit from having in this area or if there is a need that is not addressed that this area could meet.

If you would like to present an idea or concept for the three quarter acre parcel of land known as Stango Park Extended, please contact Parks & Marina Administrator Alison Kirk at or (302) 645-7777 x100 before 4:00 p.m. on Friday September 9th to be placed on the agenda.
