2017 Annual Assessment List Notice

The 2017 Annual Assessment List for the City of Lewes may be reviewed at the City Manager’s Office located within City Hall, E. Third Street, Lewes, beginning January 18, 2017 through February 10, 2017 during regular business hours of 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
 
            Those property owners desiring to appeal their assessment(s) must do so by obtaining and completing a Property Value Appeal Form from the City Manager’s Office during regular business hours.  The appeal form must be filed at the City Manager’s Office no earlier than Monday, February 6, 2017 and no later than the close of business, Friday, February 10, 2017in order for the appeal to be heard.
 
            The date and time of the meeting of the Board of Appeals to hear those appeals filed in writing will be determined by the City Council at their next regular meeting to be held February 13, 2017.
