As the COVID-19 virus continues to spread in Delaware, the City of Lewes is in regular contact with our leaders in the State of Delaware and at Beebe Healthcare. We are working hard to contain the spread of the virus, prepare for an outbreak in the Lewes area, and continue delivering the basic city services you expect from us.
Social distancing is critical to slowing the spread of the virus. Stay home when you can. When you must go out, make sure to keep a minimum of six feet of distance between you and others. Wash your hands regularly, and do not touch your face. Most importantly, if you are sick, please stay in and away from others.
How to get tested
Testing for COVID-19 is available for everyone. Some tests and testing locations require a physicians note and symptoms. Many testing sites require call ahead or pre-registration. More information about being tested, testing locations and test requirements may be found on the State's testing web page here.
